This is the fourth BC Culinary Fest.  New this year is a partnership with the Ensenada Gastronomico Conference and events in three places - Tijuana, Ensenada, and Valle de Guadalupe.

R.P. McCabe - Author, Vintner, and Brewer

Author R.P. McCabe is in the midst of a major undertaking.  Doing a lot of the work himself, he's building Bodegas Cieli Winery and Brewery on property he acquired from Natalia Badan (Mogor Badan).  

He's documenting the project's trials, tribulations, and successes on a blog you can find on his web site.  It's well worth reading.

ChuckAlek Independent Brewers Visit Valle de Guadalupe

Located in Ramona California ChuckAlek Independent Brewers is a family run operation with brewer/owner Grant Fraley at the helm.  They posted a picture on Instagram of Vena Cava and its Foodtruck Troika with an interesting hashtag -  #bajabeerproject2015.

I reached out for a little clarification and received the following reponse:

"Hammering out details now, but we're talking with Baja breweries, chefs, wineries and a hop farm to bring a collaborative project over the course of 2015!"

Sounds like a winning combination,
