As always Life & Food's pictures are lovely.

Rancho Sordo Mudo Needs Your Help

The fire on Friday that has forced the campestre Silvestre to close for the season also did significant damage to Rancho Sordo Mudo (school for the deaf).  A GoFundMe page has been set up to rebuild and replace items lost in the fire.

I urge everyone who has enjoyed visiting Valle de Guadalupe to make a donation. (I have)

New Restaurant: Restaurante Nomada Cocina Itinerante

Restaurante Nomada as the name suggests does not have a permanent location.  It is currently set up at Vinícola Nativo where it will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 - 7:00.

New Restaurant: Conchas de Piedra Opens July 21

Conchas de Piedra is the first of what will eventually be three new Drew Deckman restaurants.  This project will be a raw bar that will open in conjunction with Casa de Piedra's new tasting room.

The thought of eating fresh oysters and drinking Casa de Piedra's sparkling Espuma de Piedra in the a lovely setting makes me a little dizzy.

Concert: Mijares Sinfónico at Origenes del Valle - August 13

Boletos/Tickets

On a side note - I keep track of the Valle pretty closely, but I have to admit I have never heard of the venue Origines del Valle.  I'll certainly update this post when I learn more.

Travel Guide: Vogue - Valle de Guadalupe

Here is Vogue's rather generic guide to the Valle:

Airbnb Listing: Guadalupe Valley Artsy House

••••••••••

A little over three years ago I checked Airbnb for places to stay in the Valle and there was exactly one listing.  That has certainly changed.   The Valle currently has about 30 Airbnb listings with seemingly more places to stay added every week.

I try to keep an up-to-date list here:
